Spectrolite
An AI assistant with a personality — a chief of staff — that looks after e-mail, calendar and commitments, personal and work, and asks before acting.
- Foundation under construction · beta not yet dated
- Every day, on iPhone and Mac
- Free beta, by invitation, on TestFlight. Then per person and per seat, at the price the beta measures.
- 2026
What the Archive documents about agents, turned into a product: one assistant per person, in the iPhone and Mac apps, with human approval and a cost ceiling from day one.
- People with busy lives: e-mail, calendar, messages and reminders, personal and work, sharing the same attention.
- Small teams that want to give each person an assistant, controlling settings, cost and what it did — without reading the conversations.
- Anyone who has tried assistants that do nothing, or act without asking, or forget who you are.
- One assistant, two badges
- The same personality in Personal mode, which is yours, and in Work mode, which belongs to the organization. Personal reads Work; Work never sees Personal — kept apart by code and credentials, not by an instruction to the model.
- Asks before acting
- It drafts and asks for approval with a button named after the action (Send e-mail, Reschedule), plus Edit and Discard. Acting without asking only with your permission, per contact or per channel.
- The action trail
- In Work mode, the organization sees what it did, when, with which tool, for whom and with what result. Not the content of the conversations.
- Memory in plain sight
- What it remembers is visible, to edit and delete — including what concerns other people.
- Cost with a ceiling
- Cost is measured and capped per customer from day one. Its initiative comes out of a per-person budget, and each one carries a "why?".
- 1Specification before code
Every feature starts as a specification written and approved by a person; the code derives from it. It is the specification-driven development the house also takes to companies, in the Consulting.
- 2Security in code, not in the prompt
What needs approval, what each mode may read and which credential each tool uses are decided in code and tested.
- 3A zero-retention model
The model is Gemini 3.8 Flash, through OpenRouter, with zero retention switched on in the account. It is a commercial relationship of the house, declared on the Method page.
- 4Native, store only
iPhone and Mac apps, distributed only through the App Store, with TestFlight for the beta. There is no web version, by decision.

What an approval shows
Spectrolite's basic unit is not the model's answer; it is the action you approve — and its record.
- The draft
- The e-mail, the invitation or the message, ready, as it will go out.
- The action
- A button with the verb (Send e-mail, Reschedule), plus Edit, Discard and Not now.
- The why
- What led it to propose this: the message that arrived, the commitment, the rule you gave.
- The account
- Which account it goes from, among the ones you chose. Nothing leaves from an account you did not choose.
- The record
- Once approved: what was done, when, with which tool, for whom and with what result.
Spectrolite is the house's product and is still under construction. It is what this page used to call Ofício: the name was provisional and became final before 2027, with its own brand and domain.
The idea: working people split their attention between e-mail, calendar, messages and reminders, personal and work. Today's assistants either do nothing for you, or act without asking, or forget who you are. Spectrolite is a single assistant, with the same voice, that talks, remembers, organizes and acts on your behalf — and, by default, asks first.
What sets it apart is what we learned by reading: human approval where it matters, a record of what was done, cost measured and capped, and the line between personal and work drawn in code, not in an instruction. It is the practical application of what the Archive documents about agents.
It will have its own site and app; GenAI BR sells it and answers for it. Dates, price and the beta invitation will appear here and in the Roadmap when they exist. Until then, this page is an intention with a calendar, not a promise.
- What happened to Ofício?
- It became Spectrolite. The name was provisional from the start, and this page said so. What changed besides the name: Ofício was one agent per process, sold in pilots; Spectrolite is one assistant per person, in an app. The pilots with companies went to the Consulting.
- Which models?
- Today, Gemini 3.8 Flash, through OpenRouter, with zero retention on. The choice may change; when it does, it changes here and in the Method's register of interests.
- Is there a web version?
- No, by decision. iPhone and Mac, through the App Store.
- Who sells it?
- GenAI BR: it charges, answers for the data (Brazil's LGPD) and will be the seller on the App Store. Spectrolite has its own brand; the house signs underneath.
- Will Cinco cover Spectrolite?
- Only as a subject, with the declaration at the top of the edition — never as a recommendation, an offer or a success story. It is on the Method page.
- Does it replace people?
- No. It drafts; you decide.
